Política de erros e retratações

The Revista Univap adopts a clear and ethical stance in handling errors or content that may compromise scientific credibility. Based on the guidelines of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (ABEC) and recognized standards such as those of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), as well as best practices from Fapesp and Crossref, we have established the following guidelines::

Errata:

  • Errata will be published when errors are identified in already published articles, provided they do not compromise the main results or conclusions.
  • The erratum will be linked to the original article to ensure clarity and transparency for readers.

Retractions:

  • If an article contains serious issues, such as plagiarism, data falsification, or ethical violations, a retraction will be issued.
  • The decision to retract an article will be based on a thorough investigation conducted by the editorial committee, supported by ABEC's recommended best editorial practices.
  • The retracted article will remain on the journal's website, clearly marked as "Retracted," ensuring the scientific record is preserved.

Minor Corrections:

  • Small adjustments, such as formatting or typographical errors, will be made without issuing formal errata but always with the authors' knowledge.
